What is a

Neighborhood

Revitalization plan?

The purpose of this project is to undertake a neighborhood-driven planning process to create a comprehensive and market-driven revitalization and engagement plan.

The lead community agency and project sponsor is Chester Community Improvement Project (CCIP). This project was made possible by a Neighborhood Planning Grant from the Regional Foundation.

Planning team

For the purpose of assisting the planning team, CCIP has retained the consultant team from Urban Partners.

STUDY AREA

The map here shows the boundaries of the Study Area. This area was determined in consultation with the Regional Foundation, based on their recommendation that neighborhood planning areas be compact to facilitate progress monitoring once the plan begins implementation.

All residents and stakeholders in the Study Area, as well as those residing in adjacent neighborhoods, are encouraged to participate.
